Secret Strategies to Improve Fast Way To Earn Money Today

Many people may not realize that they are actually only renting a domain name when they buy a domain name. You can renew the domain and keep it indefinitely, but it becomes one million expired domains if you don’t renew.

Once a domain has expired, it can be bought by someone else. This can provide a great opportunity for the savvy internet marketer.

To make sure you get the most out of your ‘new’ expired domains, follow these simple steps:

1. First, find some expired, or soon to be expired, domain names you like. You can go to many sites, either domain auction sites or registrar sites that will sell off their expired domains, and see what domain names are available.

Make a note of the domain names you are interested in. Find out when the auction will end (or start), find out if there is an opening bid. Many sites will contact you by email when someone else has bid on the domain name you are bidding on.

Make sure that you set your budget before you even start on this process. You don’t want to get caught up in the moment and overspend.

2. Make sure that you are familiar with all the rules of the auction site before you bid. It’s even a good idea to watch a few auctions before you start actively bidding on domain names; this way, you can become familiar with how the site handles the auctions.

Remember, all sites will be different, so don’t assume that just because you’ve done it before on another site, you know how it will work on this site.

3. Before you bid on a domain name, carefully research the name. Check to find out how much traffic the site gets. What page rank in Google it has and how many searches are done each month for the site name.

Remember, you are buying a domain name and not a website. It’s the name that matters, so make sure that you know as much about the name as possible.

Buying old domain names can be a great investment, but only if you know what you are doing. If you spend too much on a name that you ‘think’ will be great only to find out that the name has a bad reputation because of the site that was on it previously, you won’t make money. You will lose money.

For that reason, you have to do your due diligence and try to find out how much traffic you can expect from your ‘new’ domain.

If you take a little time to educate yourself on just what you need to look for when buying expired domains and don’t get caught up in the auction’s frenzy, you can make a lot of money this way

Whether you want to pick up an old domain name for a song and resell it or if you want to build a business around an old domain name, either way, you can make money if you do it right.

Email Marketing Newsletter Maximize Advertising Exposure

Marketing is the single most important aspect of any business. You can make the greatest business ever to grace god’s green earth, but if nobody knows it exists, it will flop.

This holds for online businesses, too.

So many advertising methods have been developed to help maximize exposure and increase the chance of making a sale and earning money.

One such method is by sending out an email marketing newsletter.

Email marketing is basically where you get a list of email addresses and send them emails with information about your business and product, try to build up a rapport with them so that they buy something.

So including a newsletter with this can provide them with all the information they will need to decide whether they wish to buy your product.

There is actually quite a lot involved with email marketing to ensure its success. You can not just send off random emails and expect it to do anything.

Your emails must be professional (but try not to sound stiff, if that makes sense) and informative.

But, you do not want to give them what you are selling (assuming what you are selling is knowledge), so you need to give them enough to whet their appetite but not so much that they feel no need to buy it.

Another thing your email marketing newsletter should do is make sure it is straight and to the point.

Most people dislike reading long emails, and if they see a giant wall of text, they are most likely going to skip it. So you want to be concise in what you are trying to say. The bullet point is a popular method for achieving this.

As well, you want to be as factual as possible. Exaggeration and lies are obviously not something you want to mess with.

The whole point of email marketing is building up a relationship of trust with your potential customers to feel comfortable buying your product.

You can not do this if you are misleading them. So while it might seem tempting to fluff your emails up, make sure what you are saying is the hard truth.

What you can do to make your newsletter more enticing is to make it more proactive.

I mean that even after buying your product, you can still give them tips and advice on maintaining and using the product properly. You can also throw in notes saying you can offer help if required. Showing you are willing and eager to help them makes them more inclined to work with you by buying your product.

Using an email marketing newsletter to help boost your website is an excellent method that even popular businesses like Walmart use. It has proven to be effective and is certainly something every business owner, online or not, should look into.

The internet is an endless ocean of potential customers; email marketing is just another great way to help catch some customers.

5 Tips To Success With Internet Marketing Products

There are so many internet marketing products available today, from methods and systems to teach people how to make money to scripts and software that help speed up the process.

However, just like with any other information product, not everything is as good as the sales page may make it out to be. Or, in some cases, it just isn’t a good fit with the person buying it. If you have decided to invest in internet marketing products, try and keep the following tips.

1. Who is the author? Before you buy, try and dig a little deeper to determine who the author of the book, system, or method is. This is not as important with scripts and software, but it’s good to know who you are buying from with information products.

Unfortunately, the internet has allowed many to make money without actually having any knowledge of what they are writing about, and this doesn’t bode well for anyone buying a new money-making system.

2. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. If internet marketing products promise you that you can make $5,000 in the next 50 minutes, you would likely not believe it. Then why would you believe an internet marketing product that says you can make $10,000 in a month, even if the time span is longer?

Remember that internet marketing is essentially a business, and a business can take quite a bit of time before it becomes profitable, so be patient.

3. Don’t give in to your emotions. Sometimes you want to believe in something so much that you overlook the cold, hard facts that are screaming at you that all these internet marketing products can’t deliver on their promises.

Yet, here you are, putting your PayPal information in again to buy the latest shiny toy, even though you probably have a hard drive full of products you have never read.

4. Take action. This is one of the biggest problems in internet marketing today. People buy so many systems but never implement even one. They keep on looking for the Holy Grail without actually putting in the work to see whether or not they already have it in their grasp.

They jump from product to product, with no clear goal in sight, hoping they will find that one product where they can push a button and their PayPal will receive money automatically. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that, and you still need to put some work in. All the internet marketing products combined will not make you money if you do not put the work in.

5. Give it time. Just like with a diet, internet marketing products and the systems they offer need a little time. Search engines take time before they rank a site, and you are tempted to scrap a system within 24 hours of trying it because it doesn’t work.

Remember that you need to give anything a chance for at least 30 days to really judge how effective it is. If you have not seen any progress after thirty days, then, by all means, switch to a different system.

Succeeding with Your Internet Home-Based Businesses

If you’re running internet home-based businesses or are considering getting into one, there are some steps you need to follow to make your endeavor successful.

First of all, it’s easy to get caught up in all the hype of the many products offered to help you in your business. They all claim to be the best or have the best formula or system that makes everything easy.

Of course, you first need a product or service to sell. And that is actually often the easiest part of starting a business.

But there are really only three steps you need to master to grow your business.

It would be best to get your business in front of the people interested in buying your products or services. You need to build a list of all of the people who take a look at your business, even if they don’t buy.

And you need to build a relationship with the people on this list to become buyers or repeat buyers. In short, you need traffic, a list, and communication.

Let’s start with traffic.

If you’re on a budget, you can use the many free or low-cost traffic generating tools out there, such as Facebook. Twitter, Blogger, WordPress, USFreeAds, Craigslist, and YouTube, to name a few.

These are extremely effective places to tell people what you are offering. You can also do some paid pay-per-click advertising on major search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, and Facebook.

With building lists for your internet home-based businesses, there is one essential tool. That is an autoresponder.

This tool allows you to place a form on your website, blog, or whatever web page you are using to create interest in your product. Generally, you offer something free like a newsletter, a sample product, or partial service to fill in their contact information.

This information is then added directly to your list of clients/potential clients. So, you can now email them with updates, information, new products, or whatever you want to communicate with them to help you build your relationship with them.

In this day and internet age, the personal touch is becoming more valued simply because it is less frequent.

Everything is automated, including customer service, sales, and emails. So, if you can add a little bit of personalization to your automated efforts, it will go a long way in establishing trust with your list and clients. How can you do this?

Send out cards every once in a while for birthdays or holidays. Communicate on Facebook. Make some phone calls. There are several ways to show your customers that they are important to you. Asking for feedback helps as well.

If you can master these three simple rules, your internet home-based businesses will be successful.

Internet Marketing Links - The Good The Bad And The Ugly

If you have been on the internet a while, researching either how to make money online or how to promote your business online, then you have probably heard of internet marketing links and their value.

Links increase the value of your site in the eyes of the search engines and help drive traffic. However, not all links are created equal, and some have more effect than others.

Internet marketing links affect your site’s page rank, and different links have different effects. For example, inbound links from other sites increase your site’s relevancy in the eyes of the search engines, while internal links allow search engine crawlers to find other pages of your site.

The greatest value to your own website lies in inbound links, and there are several ways you can get these internet marketing links.

1. Request links. This is one of the most straightforward ways to get a link, but it can also be one of the most difficult. Essentially, contact other website owners requesting a link back to your site. Remember, though, that the relevance of the site linking to yours is important. The higher the relevance in terms of similarity in the topic, the more value the link has. The less relevant the website is to your niche, the lower the power of the link, but it is still more valuable than not having any links at all.

2. Writing articles. This is probably the most popular method of gaining internet marketing links and involves writing content on the same or similar topics to what your site is about. This is then posted to article directories and relevant websites as guest posts. This is a valuable strategy because not only does it provide links, but it can also drive traffic if the content is useful and people want to discover more about that website.

3. Press releases are a great way to gain exposure, both for linking purposes and driving traffic. The advantage to press releases is that they have a good chance of getting picked up by various publications, both online and offline, which increases the exposure exponentially. And it’s all free.

4. PPC and paid links. Another method of obtaining links is via pay-per-click advertising campaigns or paid links. Pay-per-click campaigns usually involve bidding for a certain keyword with the major search engines and paying only when someone clicks on your link to access your site. Paid links can also come from other websites and blogs.

5. Affiliate programs are another great way to increase page rank through internet marketing links and a significant source of traffic and sales. Essentially, an affiliate program means people will promote your product or website on their own sites for a percentage of a sale. This is an excellent way to increase your sales and exposure.

These are a few of the methods you can use to get good, relevant internet marketing links that will help increase your page rank and position in the search engines.

Keyword Search Engine Ranking Will Propel Your Site To The Top

Using keyword search engine ranking to help propel your website to the top of the search engine rankings is one very effective way to drive more traffic to your website, all for free.

Besides the free traffic, another wonderful benefit of this type of traffic is that it meets another criterion for quality website traffic: all the traffic that comes to your website via this technique will be very qualified and targeted.

You may be wondering how I can know that simple, since the people who visit your site are searching for a keyword phrase you are targeting, you know that they have a big interest in your product or service; they are very targeted.

Don’t worry, I know this can sound complicated… and it can be complicated, but in its simplest form, it looks a little like this:

Let’s say you are selling a book about improving your golf swing. The whole focus of your website is to help golfers improve their game by improving their swing.

You’ve isolated a list of keywords that are very focused on golf swings. These keywords get decent monthly traffic and relatively low competition.

For this example, let’s say you are targeting the keyword phrase “improve your golf swing.” Using this phrase in your website optimization plan will help the search engines find your site. They will be able to identify that your site is about improving golf swings.

If they believe your website can offer valuable information on improving golf swings to anyone who visits it, they will rank your site very high. Ideally, you want your site to be ranked within the first page of results.

So, if someone goes to their web browser and types in the phrase “improve golf swing,” and your site is one of the first ones that show up, they will very likely click on the link and be taken to your website.

Since they were actively searching for the term “improve golf swing,” you know that they have a high level of interest in improving their golf swing, making them a good potential customer of yours.

This technique works well for your website, but you can also use it to distribute articles for article marketing and all your blog posts.

Just use your keywords as the basis for your posts and articles. If you choose the right keywords and submit them to good article directories, your articles or blog can show up in the top ten for that particular keyword phrase… again, good free traffic.

There are a few things to keep in mind: for one thing, the algorithms that the search engines use to determine how relevant any particular site changes frequently.

To be really competitive, especially in a competitive market, you need to stay on top of your optimization efforts (or hire someone to do it for you). However, you can still benefit from this method even with just a few simple tweaks to your website.

As a business owner, you understand the importance of getting every advantage you can and using
keyword search engine ranking techniques is one of those advantages.

Internet Marketing System-Income To Attain Financial Freedom

Working on the internet is a great way to attain the financial freedom you have always wanted. It provides a steady stream of income that you can rely on, and you do not have to worry about living paycheck to paycheck.

However, working online is not as easy as you may think, and you will need a good internet marketing system to help keep you on track.

There are several tips out there to help you keep up your momentum in building and managing your online business. These tips are not all there is out there, but they are a good foundation.

1. Set work hours. Working your online business may tempt you into fiddling with your work hours as you see fit. Work less on one day, more on another. And this is fine, but it can hamper productivity. Instead of doing that, try setting yourself specific hours. Work from, say, one to three every day. Having set hours for when you can focus more on the actual work and not have to worry about other things since you have planned around your work time.

2. Designating a workspace. Another thing that can help your internet marketing system is giving yourself a set location where you work. If you have a small unused room, you can use that as an office. If not, simply setting up a desk or table in the corner of a less traveled room can suffice. The goal is to give you an area that is devoted to working and only work.

3. Required tools. Make sure you have the required tools for working online. This includes both real-life and your computer. If you are running a business that may require printouts or something, ensure you have a printer. However, the more common tools required will be software-related. There are many programs out there to help you with your business, so make sure to make use of them.

4. Do not hesitate to ask for help. Running a business is a hard task, especially for those just starting. Ask the experts in your niche, as they will often provide help and answer questions. There are a lot of forums for virtually every niche out there that you can frequent as well.

5. Maintain your health. This may seem silly, but working online means spending a lot of time sitting in front of your computer. Even an office environment allows you to move about, but it is straightforward to lose yourself in your work and end up spending hours and hours staring at your monitor when working from home. Take breaks as needed and not get burned out.

Making an internet marketing system that works for you is important for the success of your business. Without a solid system, you will end up failing like so many others. However, if you can make a system that works for you, you can see all the rewards you were hoping for.

Internet Marketing Success

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. As someone who has been making a full-time living online for several years, it always saddens me to see people get taken advantage of and not fulfilling their dreams of making money online.

The sad thing is, it is partly their own fault. The truth is that internet marketing success can be had by anyone, as long as they avoid some basic mistakes.

It’s easy to set aside your normal common sense when you are desperate and tell you the truth; that is what many companies count on. They thrive on taking advantage of desperate and/or greedy people.

If you keep your common sense intact and let it guide you, you can achieve internet marketing success much more quickly and with a lot less hand wringing.

Here is what I mean (oh, and by the way, I made all of these mistakes myself, so I know what I’m talking about):

1. Before you start to build your online business, make sure your head is in the right place. If you have a car payment or a house payment due in a few weeks and you think you will make enough money with your new online business in that time to pay it, think again.

If that is where you are at, you would be better off trying to find another job. You see, building a business online is faster, cheaper, and easier than most anything you could do offline. But, that does not mean it is fast, cheap, or easy. It will take time, effort, and a little money.

If you go into it in the wrong mindset (the idea you can get something for nothing), you will accomplish the only thing to make someone else rich. You will end up buying a ton of products that are making wild claims about how much you can make, and you won’t make any money; you will only spend money.

2. You must also accept that you will need to learn some basic skills to be successful online. It’s not hard, but you can’t go in totally blind with no idea of how it all works and expect to build a business. You would never do that with an offline business, would you?

3. You have to be willing to allow it to take time. I know we live in a world where we expect everything to happen quickly, but it will take time. How much time? I can’t tell you; it will depend on how much time you can devote to your business and how quickly you grasp some basic skills.

I would say, though, that if you take some time to learn some basic skills, say about a month, and take the time to put those skills to work, say another month or two, you should be able to make some consistent money at that point.

You probably won’t be rich, and you may not even be making enough to quit your job yet, but you should be able to see that the method works and it is within reach. Even a few hundred extra dollars will help most people out.

These simple tips will help you achieve internet marketing success much quicker and with less pain.

Link Building Tips For Blogs

If you are involved in internet marketing, you need to set aside some time to link building. And just about every business is marketing online today.

When we talk about link building, we are referring to the links on other sites that point back to your sites, as well as your site’s internal linking structure. With that in mind, here are some tips to put your link building on the right track.

You must do one important thing before you start doing any link building, and that’s making sure that the people who will be visiting your site will see one that is of the highest quality possible. This is what will make everything else work. In fact, you will naturally start to pick up links from other sites because they will see you are worth linking to.

Use blog directories to your benefit. Go to your favorite search engine and search for “blog directories,” and you will see that there are a lot of them out there. Some will accept links to any blog, while others cater to a more specific and targeted audience. Register for as many of these as you can, and be sure to focus on your keywords when signing up.

During this whole time, you should also be adding more fresh content to your blog. When you have published a decent amount of content, you can contact other bloggers to swap blogroll links. If possible, start by approaching those bloggers at your level or above, giving your site more credibility.

One of the most overlooked link-building tips is to write articles for sites that allow guest contributions. Again, aim for those ranked the same or higher than yours to get more bang for your link-building efforts.

Another great way to get more traffic and backlinks is to have a blog contest. How you set it up is up to you, but the goal is to get people to link back to your site. One way to do this is to give bonus contest entries to everyone who links back. Some sites promote current and upcoming blog contests, so be sure to submit your contest to them also.

Commenting on other people’s blogs is a fantastic way to generate backlinks. Look for related blogs that are placing high in the search engines, and leave thoughtful comments. Of course, nothing is stopping you from creating other sites and blogs that link back to the blog you want to rank best for. You can then “comment” on your own posts using various pen names.

Link-building tips are great, but a lot of people forget about the internal structure of their sites. This is how all of your pages are linked to one another. The easiest way to do this is to make sure all of your pages have a link to all of your other pages.

Marketing Positioning Know How Your Product Is Perceived

Any time that you are promoting your business, it is important to consider marketing positioning.

Sure, you have already figured who your target market is, have done testing and tracking, and even made some adjustments, but have you given any thought to how your product or service is being positioned in the marketplace? Do you have an idea of what positioning is? Do you know how to determine an effective position?

A simple definition of positioning is how you wish your products or services to be perceived by your target market.

This may relate to a specific aspect of your offer, your brand, or your company as a whole. Another thing to keep in mind is that a single product has the potential to be positioned in more than one way.

For example, let’s say we have a breakfast cereal that is both tasty and healthy. It could be marketed to kids as a cereal that tastes good and that parents can feel good about because it’s healthy. It could also be marketed to adults as a healthy cereal that also tastes good.

Sticking to the breakfast cereal example, the advertising used would depend on what marketing positioning was trying to be achieved with the particular campaign. That’s one reason why how you position your product is so important.

However, the main reason for positioning is that it plays a major role in how your target market receives your product. Positioning can be the difference between failure and success.

Did you notice that? The difference between failure and success is how you position your product and not necessarily the actual merits of the product.

Why is this so? The reason is that nobody can find out how great your product is unless they buy it, and they will only buy it if it’s positioned effectively.

The question then becomes one of how to position your product in a way that resonates.

You need to have a detailed image of who your ideal customer is and their real problems and desires.

Most of us have learned that you have to solve people’s problems, but that alone is not enough to figure out an excellent position. To do that, you also need to know what they want, what they really want.

If they have health problems, you can help them get healthier by eating your healthy cereal.

You have solved their problem, but that’s not very captivating. Let’s move on to what they want. Okay, they obviously want to be healthy, right? Sure, but why do they want to be healthy?

Is it so they can look good in a swimming suit? Is it so they can be more active and have more energy? Is it so they can live longer? Aha! Now you’re zeroing in on the best marketing positioning for your product. It takes a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, you will see how much improvement it makes.

Marketing Video Production - Tips For Getting It Right

Using marketing video production, quality has to be good, but don’t think that means you have to hire actors and pay thousands of dollars.

One of the great advantages of using video to promote your online business is that it allows your prospective customers to get to know you; it takes away a lot of the anonymity of the internet, that’s why it should be all you in front of the camera.

Of course, just because you aren’t paying thousands of dollars for a professionally produced marketing video doesn’t mean it has to look like a third-grader made it. It would be best if you always strived for quality video and audio as well as a smooth-flowing script.

I can’t tell you how annoying it is to try and watch a video online, a tutorial-style video where someone is trying to explain how to do something and have to listen to someone who can’t run two coherent sentences together. What a waste of my time!

So, the first thing you should do is to decide the exact topic of your video. Remember, you won’t have a lot of time; most videos will only be between 3-5 minutes long. So make sure the video in particular.

Next, write an outline (an outline is probably better than an actual script since you want to sound still natural and honest instead of faked and rehearsed). If you are illustrating how to do something online and loading other websites, going to Google, etc., pause the recording while waiting for search results to load. I know you are trying to explain things in real-time, but no one wants to sit around and wait for your screens to load.

Also, make sure that you don’t give away the ‘whole farm.’ While you want to provide people with valuable and helpful information, ultimately, you want them to buy your product or service, so you can’t tell them everything. Just give them little tidbits of information.

Once you’ve got a great video made (great from the standpoint that the video and audio are clean and that the narration is easy to follow and on target), you will want to submit that video to video directories. When you submit the video, make sure that you include relevant keywords in the title, tags, and description. That way, your video will get picked up by the search engines and send a lot of free targeted traffic to your website.

Using video for online marketing is the way of the future. It’s easy, inexpensive, and very effective if you do it right. It takes away a lot of the impersonal aspects of doing business online; people can see you and listen to you, making it easier for them to form a connection with you. Make sure that your marketing video production levels are good. No one expects a commercial-grade video, and that would probably turn people off anyway, make it something worth sitting through.

Making Your Site SEO Friendly

Having a website doesn’t mean much if nobody sees it. You could have the most awesome website on the planet, but if people don’t visit it, then it’s the same as if it doesn’t exist at all.

Making your site SEO-friendly increases the chances of your site being seen.

SEO (search engine optimization) covers everything you do to improve your site’s position in the search engines.

Many people find new websites by using a search engine, but they will only go through so many results before visiting a site or trying a new keyword phrase. In fact, the further down your site is listed, the less chance there is that anybody will see it.

The difference between the first page of results and the second page is huge. If you want your site to be seen, you need to do whatever you can to have it listed on the first page of the search engine results.

In theory, SEO is fairly simple: you do a few things to your website, which starts to move higher in the search engine results.

While that’s what it boils down to, making your site SEO-friendly is a bit more complicated and can be, at times, quite frustrating if you don’t do it right.

The good news is that there are a few relatively easy things that you can start doing right away to help move your site higher up the search engine results.

You need to invest some time in researching the best keywords for your website. The best keywords get plenty of searches, have relatively low competition, and have an action element built into them.

There is no magic number for the number of searches any particular keyword should have, and the same applies to the amount of competition (or how the competition is measured).

That brings us to the concept of the “active element,” which refers to keywords that show that searching is already looking to do something related to your site.

For example, if you offer a how-to guide on making tutus, keywords like “tutu patterns” and “how to make tutus” would include a relevant action element and make ideal keywords for your site.

There is more to making your site SEO-friendly than just choosing the right keywords, though.

Having relevant content is also very important. See, search engines make money, ultimately, by having many users, and people flock to the search engines that provide the most relevant results based on their searches.

It only makes sense that when you give the search engines what they want, they will give you what you want, which is to appear closer to the top of the results. A good rule of thumb to make sure you are doing this is to write your content for people first and search engines second.

Link Building Tips for Your Blog

Link building is one of the many tasks you need to allot time to when marketing online. And what business isn’t marketing online nowadays? Link building refers to both incoming links and your internal linking structure.

This article will provide you with some link-building tips to get you started in the right direction.

First of all, before you even put your link-building strategy into place, you want to make sure you are offering top-notch quality and information on your site.

This is the foundation that holds it all together. Interesting and informative content will bring more links to your blog naturally, without you having to go out searching for them.

Make use of blog directories. There are quite a few blog directories where you can pick up a link to your blog. To mention a few. . .

BlogHer is more geared towards women, and BlogCatalog and MyBlogLog also include a social aspect to them. These can give you many ways to increase the number of incoming links to your blog just by registering.

Once you have a good amount of compelling content published on your blog, approach other bloggers with equal or more authority than your blog (you’ll have to find this out using various tools) and suggest a blogroll reciprocal link. It’s better to do this (1) when your blogs are relevant to each other and (2) when you have already been in contact with your potential link partner.

This is one of the best link-building tips: Write an article on another site that allows guests. Just make sure that you add content to blogs that are higher ranked than yours.

Holding blog contests is an effective way to drive traffic to your blog and increase incoming links. How do you do this? You can actually promote your blog content on a variety of blog contest promotion sites. You can even “bribe” contestants with extra entries if they write an article on their blog which links back to your article about the contest.

Create other content that links to your blog or even create another blog that links to your blog. And the key to making the most of this other content is to comment on other people’s content. When you comment, make sure that you include the link back to your blog. It’s important to remember that your comments should be informative and interesting, not simply spamming others with your link.

Joining forums is a great way to start building relationships with people and getting your blog noticed. Just make sure you include your blog URL in your profile and signature.

Similarly, participating in social networking sites like Facebook allows you more opportunities to make your blog more visible. You will most likely include the link to your blog in the profile areas.

Hopefully, these link-building tips will be useful for you and your business.

Trial For Two Weeks For Performance

Once you have your list of keywords, you want to use, take the first keyword, submit it into your article or ad and post it for a two-week trial period. This first two-week trial period is a test for that keyword to see how well it performs for you.

Remember, a good keyword will bring you mediocre results; a great keyword will bring you excellent results. Make sure your keywords are specific and relevant to your product or service. Sometimes the more specific, the better, which may mean you should find a keyword phrase or a long-tailed keyword to use.

For example, I know someone who has a site promoting crates for dogs. Instead of just using “dog crates” as her keyword, she dug a little deeper and found that “wire dog crates” was a better keyword to use because it is a lot more specific. So do not be afraid to dig down a little, or a lot, deeper.

If the first keyword you try does well, great. If it does not do well, go down your list and take the next keyword to submit that one into your article or ad and do the same thing, post it for a two-week trial period, and track the results. Eventually, you will find one or two keywords that will perform nicely and bring traffic into your website so you can make some conversions.

Once your conversion rate is where you want it, and you notice a jump in the sales you make, then you know you have optimized your ad and, therefore, your website. Continue to use that keyword or keyword phrase you have chosen throughout the content on your site. Be careful not to use too much in the content you provide because the search engines consider that keyword stuffing, and you will get booted.

Strategically placed keywords are the best way to go. You will get ranked high in the search results and attract a lot of the right attention—namely, people looking for what you are selling.

Your keyword should also be a part of the title of your ad or article. Use your creativity and come up with a catchy title. Then make sure that your article is at least 500 words in length, and you have the keyword in the first and last paragraph of your article and once in the article’s body.

Only that, and the search engines will consider that keyword stuffing, as we talked about earlier. You are trying to run a successful business, not get booted off the search engines. You must be more careful than ever since Google’s PANDA update.

The PANDA update requires you to provide (and this will sound weird) uniquely original or organic content on your site when promoting your product or service. You can no longer regurgitate someone else’s content.

So, follow all the new rules and be careful not to over keyword submit your website content.

PPC Marketing Advantages And Roles

Pay per click, or PPC for short, is a great way for you as a web owner to get visitors to your site when you desperately need traffic on your site.

It is a risky proposition for someone to undertake if they practice poor management as it can cost them a fortune in the long.

Just as there are drawbacks to PPC marketing, there are also many advantages for you to consider using PPC as a way for you to promote your site. You will also need to understand the role that PPC plays in your site to better handle how to go about setting up your PPC marketing campaign.

One of the first and probably best advantages of using PPC is that it is a quick way to drive traffic to your site. If you pay top dollar for the top spot on the search pages, it is of no amazement that you will get the traffic that you are seeking.

If the visitors are searching for the keywords you had bid on, and your site is well written and appealing to the visitors, you will have visitors to your site the minute your ad is placed in the various search engines.

PPC marketing is also speed. With some of the more popular systems like Google Adwords, you will generate traffic to your site from the moment it is opened.

Another great advantage to PPC is that it can also be profitable. Sometimes you can find a bid on keywords for around ten cents a bid. This is where PPC can be most profitable. This is because you can generate traffic to your site for no more than you would have paid on regular advertising campaigns.

So as you can see, PPC has great advantages, but that is just a start at understanding how your new PPC marketing campaign works. You now will need to understand the role that it plays as well.

PPC marketing is not recommended as the sole way of advertising your site. This is due to the cost that is involved in running this type of campaign. There are a few important roles, however, that PPC does offer you though.

They can offer you both campaign and issue-based traffic to your site. If your site is a short-term one to advertise a new product or special issues, PPC is a great way to get the buzz rolling. You can create a PPC campaign usually in about 24-48 hours, and most generally, you can change the wording of your site during the middle of your campaign. Therefore word adjustment is fairly easy.

It is also great for a direct response business. If you offer a product that a visitor can purchase the moment they enter your site, then PPC is great.

These are just two of the roles of PPC but also the most important roles. PPC advertising is not for everyone, but it would be your best bet if you are looking to generate traffic to your site quickly.

Online Marketing Promotion

There are several online marketing promotion strategies. You need to find the combination that brings the amount of pre-targeted traffic to your website to make sales.

The big online marketing promotion strategies that I will cover in this article include pay per click, search engine optimization, and article marketing.

Pay per click will give you the quickest bang for your buck. You will be able to evaluate your success immediately when you use PPC. Unfortunately, this means putting some of your money on the line. Google’s Adwords program does not require you to pay for up to a month, but you will be in debt if you don’t make money back immediately.

When you do pay-per-click marketing as a form of online marketing promotion, you write a short ad (usually 90-125 characters) that appears alongside the search results on Google, Yahoo, or MSN. Your ads may also appear on relevant web pages if you don’t turn that feature off.

The position of your ad will depend on a combination of the amount you are willing to pay for each visitor and the percentage of people who see your ad and are willing to click through. Therefore, writing a good ad for low competition keywords is how you make money with pay per click.

Now, you don’t have to pay to show up on Google’s search, but you do have to work for it. You no longer get visitors just because you build a website. You have to entice Google to list you.

If you want Google to list you high in their search rankings, you must do many things on your website and your website to attract the computer programs (also called “spiders”) that Google and the other search engines are run to determine search ranking.

Your site itself must be search engine friendly which involves having the right coding in your HTML and contextually driven content. You should also update your site frequently, adding more pages to improve your search results.

But you also have to build a web of links to your site.

You can do this by submitting your website to directories, making blog posts about your website, and posting to classified sites. One of the best ways to build links is to submit articles to article directories.

Article directories have two valuable purposes for online marketing promotion. One is to build links that increase the chance to index your own site in the search engines.

But there is another valuable feature to placing articles about your topic on article directories. Established directories have high page rank themselves, and the article you place will benefit from that.

When someone types in a search term related to your site, it might not show up, but if you have submitted an article to a directory, your article might.

Once the person reads the valuable content you have submitted in the article, you will induce them to click through to the website that you list in your resource box. Some of the best article directories include EzineArticles, GoArticles, and IdeaMarketers.

A variation on the article directory is Squidoo. On Squidoo, you create a lens with several short articles and refer visitors to your site for more information. Squidoo also offers various tools such as embedded YouTube videos, polls, and guest books which make it a unique visitor experience.

There are many ways to get visitors to your site. Pay Per Click, Search Engine Optimization, and Article Marketing are three online marketing promotion strategies.
